Many beekeepers in and around Banbury – and indeed further afield – will know of Viktor and Lucy’s (generally known as V&L) bee farm and their business, Honeymakers.
One of their staff, Dave Richardson, is an active Member of Shipston Beekeepers and was able to arrange with Viktor to take a small party around the facility to see the activities and equipment involved in running a 1,000 hive, 30 tonnes of honey size operation.
The tour took place on 19th January and all who attended found it quite fascinating.
