Our annual Introduction to Beekeeping course, this year run on 27th and 28th April, is a major undertaking for Shipston Beekeepers and a big contributor to our Charitable aims of ‘to…..advance the education of the public and beekeepers in the craft of beekeeping…’.
The weekend follows a tried and tested formula of the Saturday being a ‘theory’ day in Brailes village Hall whilst Sunday is a hands-on session with the students doing a round robin of frame making, hive building and opening a colony.
