The next Apiary visit is on Sat 15th of June at Dave Kelleher's Apiary in his garden in Kineton, available for your delectation will be 6 colonies in 14x12 hives in the Hedgerow Apiary (yes i did mean in the hedgerow). From Super to Show: At July's meeting we will be going through everything you need to know from how to extract your honey from the supers, storing honey, filling jars and especially what you need to do to enter your honey and win 1st prize at the various village shows this summer.
Graham Franklin is opening his out-apiary to members for a visit on Saturday 27th July. Graham has around 7 colonies, a number of nucs, and has been queen rearing this year using the Millar method.
