Winter Bee School (WBS) – Basic Beekeeping – Session 1

These sessions cover basic beekeeping for those who have taken up the craft in the past year or so. It is a great way to consolidate your knowledge from the huge and sometimes bewildering amount of information the first year of beekeeping hits you with. The topics covered are those in the BBKA Basic Assessment so if you are thinking about doing that assessment next year what better way to prepare. Carolyn Kramer has kindly offered to run the sessions this year. For each meeting you are asked to prepare your own notes on a set of questions which are then discussed at the meetings.
